What am I supposed to do now?

I am regretting coming back over here.  I got home from work today to my dogs having been banished outside by my dad.  I went and opened the door and let them in and my dad threw the 5 month old puppy outside.

I told them before I came over with them that they were house dogs and not used to living outside.  I will just have to find somewhere else to live and fast because I won't have my dogs being forced to live outside when they are house dogs.

It all has to do with my mother coming back from the Nursing Home.  Dad is so afraid that Herea will knock her over, when she isn't even walking.  I have decided that when I come home from work I will banish myself upstairs and take the dogs with me, but this is also unfair to them because they have been used to having the run of the house.  So I will just have to find myself somewhere else to live.

This has upset me more than just about anything else that could have been done by my ex husband.  he never would have banned the dogs outside because in England dogs always live in the house and only go outside to make their messes.  My dogs have always had all the comforts of living in the house and forcing them to live outside is wrong.

Apart from that I have had a pretty good week.  Got several letters from my Solicitor, one of which upset me until I spoke to her then I was ok.

Problem with dogs now sorted out.  We have agreed that when I am at home the dogs will be in, when I am out they will be out.

Chin up, Becque! Your parents aren't so young any longer & have got out of the habit of living with pets; it must seem very lively & quite possibly exhausting to them. In some ways it would be as well to find somewhere of your own now anyway, if you want to pursue your long-term dreams. It's been lovely that you were able to be there for your Dad when he needed you most, but you need your own space now & to find your own place in the world!
