If I give the impression that I am bitter I apologise.  I am not, I am very happy without him.  No one knows what it was like living under his thumb for 25 years like I do.  I am a whole lot better off without him and this was just proved to me the other day when I telephoned him.  I could hear the strain in his voice and I felt completely free.

I would also love to be able to contact the new woman in his life and find out a bit about her but I do not have any way to do this.

My mom is doing a whole lot better and so am I.
